Where should ViseX live?

I was cleaning up my computer the other day, and, thinking (obviously not thinking too hard!) that ViseX was an old Virus checker, I moved it to the trash. In a moment of inspiration, I realized what I had done, and retrieved it from trash. Now, I'm not sure where it should reside! Can someone help me out? I just need to know where to put it so the system will find it when it needs it.
Thanks in advance!

The system doesn't need it. Keep it in the trash.

Thanks for a quick reply!
Isn't ViseX an installer? When downloading apps, sometimes the ViseX installer comes up. What would happen in that instance if I leave ViseX in the trash?

ViseX is a self-contained installer technology. Each ViseX file is a self-contained installer program for that particular app that it installs. Generally, the file name will tell you what it's installing, i.e. "HP ScanJet Installer." Unless you want to keep the file to reinstall the given program, it's safe to delete.
Virex is likely the anti-virus program you were thinking of.

I don't know about ViseX, but this thread should live in the Applications forum

Like others said, ViseX used to be a common installer program used to install programs like Stuffit and Photoshop. There's really no need to keep a ViseX installer around if you've got whatever program it was supposed to install.

Thanks everyone! I guess I will just delete it! Virex is in fact what I thought I was deleting.
