Am using DVD Studio Pro 3. I added audio to the background of the main menu, the idea is that the music plays in a loop until the person is ready to press play and actually watch the movie. The audio in the movie works fine so that’s not an issue. But the audio in the background of the main menu goes for about 40 seconds, when it is about to loop again there is a noise hard to explain but kind of a hiss/click, so it doesn’t smoothly loop. Anyway of fixing this problem?

Also I created this loop in other software and imported it into DVD Studio Pro, but is there a way in DVD Studio Pro to edit audio, e.g. if I have a 4 minute song and wanted to crop it to 1 minute, do I have to do this in external software or can I import the whole song and edit directly in DVD Studio Pro?

Well I sorted out the problem myself, I fixed it up in FCP, which I think I read somewhere in one of the forums, but was hoping to fix it directly in DVDSP.

Anyway I just imported the aiff file into FCP, faded up the beginning and faded down the end, then exported that file back to DVDSP and no longer was there an audio glitch. It’s strange though, because the actual loop I used already faded in and out (before I even adjusted it in FCP) so I didn’t think I would need to fade it in and out in FCP, but anyway that fixed the problem.
