Can someone please tell me how to open *.wpd (WordPerfect) files? I have MS Word... can't seem to get it to open so that I can read it.

Try AbiWord.

Or NeoOffice. It will depend on the version of WordPerfect that saved the files, but NeoOffice is capable of opening version 3.5 (IIRC) files at least.

Also, if you join this Yahoo Group, you can get access to links to the free download of WP3.5e, which runs in OS 9/Classic.

Another vote for NeoOffice, I was able to open some wpd files with it successfully.

I've (IIRC) had some luck just dropping them in text edit. obviously you loose the formatting, but if you just need the text... I think that at least some WP docs just store it as Unicode16...
