now i hate AOL as much as the next person, but this thing they're doing with xDrive is really great. The only problem is they seem to only want to support it for windows. So here's my question. we All know and love how .mac accounts can show up in finder and such as just another computer Hard drive, right? My question is, is there a way to do that with xDrive, and if there is, what is it?

Thanks guys!

You can mount any AFP volume, or any SSH volume using FUSE. Additionally, you can also mount Samba and NFS volumes, but these are generally restricted to a LAN. Anonymous FTP volumes (read only) can be mounted too.

.Mac works because the service uses WebDAV, which Mac OS X knows how to communicate with. xDrive seems to be a proprietary protocol, so somebody would need to figure it out and reverse engineer it if you want to mount it in your filesystem. On the other hand, it looks like they do have a Web interface, so it should work anyway.
