I've just been tolerating this for so long I keep forgetting to see if I can do anything about it.
When an alarm window comes up on my screen there's three little buttons: close, repeat and show. I usually use repeat but it pretty much applies for all buttons. when I single click on it usually the menu doesn't appear, or it takes way too long so I click again and then I've double clicked and it'll appear or disappear depending on when I click in the spinning up cycle. It seems like the computer is waking up or something to get going and it creates an unpredictable delay. When you have a lot of alarms during the day it gets very annoying. I have to play footsy with the computer until I coordinate my timing to actually get the menu to stay long enough to use it. Then I wonder, should I be trying a double click?
Now I have a dual 2.5 G5 with 2.5 GB of ram running 10.4.8 so it shouldn't be lack of computing "oof" that's causing this.
Any suggestions?
