We have 1 user who's Entourage 11.3.3 will crash from time to time. And the newest emails can take a day or 2 to show up forcing her to use the web mail client (which of course is limited). She's on an upgraded 1.5 GB RAM, volleyball 1.4 GHZ iMac. The problem has been happening for months, i.e. prior to the upgrade and Apple Mail.app was even worse. Here is a crash log, if it helps.

You indicated two separate problems: 1) failure to receive in a timely manner and 2) happens on a different system and a different user. This seems to point to the ISP.

Your crash log indicates problems with the framework library. A framework error normally means one or more components of Office have not been updated correctly and are now out of synch with other bits. I would recommend these two approaches. 1) Re-apply the latest combo updater from Apple. This can also overwrite potentially problem causing files. 2) Use "Remove Office" then install from CD, apply the updater 11.3.3 then updater 11.3.4.

Other than testing the network traffic, I don't know how to check the problem with the ISP. See using tcpflow to monitor network traffic: How to Install and Use tcpflow
