i helped a friend move from 9.2.2 to 10.4 today.
all went well until...
spent an hour watching Mail import from Eudora.
at the end of this, all the folders (a LOT of folders) were in Mail; all, except for the inbox, were empty.
i looked in the Mail folder in the library, saw the folders there (all have only an info.plist in them). there was even an Attachments folder, full of stuff from eudora.

but no mail messages.

i dL'd eudora for osx, and 5 minutes later, we had everything.

but he wanted to move to Mail.

any ideas about what might have happened??
