does anyone know how to send the windows key via ms remote desktop client? it seems to allow you to specify a key combination for alt, but that's all.

Hit Control+Escape

It won't allow for Start button shortcuts like Start+R to Run or Start+E to open explorer though, just brings up the start menu...

thanks for the response.

unfortunately, the shortcut behaviour is what i need. i use the program slickrun and slickjot (Bayden Systems - SlickRun) at work and have them mapped to winkey-space and winkey-j. ah well, it's not a big deal.
