Recently, I have been going through Activity Monitor, and noticed that Firefox uses 100MB of real ram, while Safari uses around 30MB. That information has prompted me into moving from firefox to safari.

Now, the dilemma is transferring all my information (passwords, cookies, bookmarks etc.) into safari. So, my question is, how do I do that?

Thanks.

Safari has an "Import bookmarks" command in the File menu. You could give that a try. Passwords you probably have to reenter yourself and cookies come automatically.

I wouldn't switch browser due to some number in Activity Viewer by the way. It's much more important how one likes the browser, its features, its speed and compatibility with the sites one visits.
