what is a good panorama program?

I'm looking for a decent stitching program to create panorams/360 shots. Any free prorams out there? Just bought a home here on Martha's Vineyard and want to take a shot of the house from on top of the frozen pond in the yard.

I like Calico. Very easy and nice results. It's not free however.
