I've been using PC's for 20+ years, but this is my first experience with Apple/Mac. My 92 year old grandma needs to be able to open Skype, find names and dial. Pretty easy. She also needs to be able to view pictures that are on her HD, CD, DVD or off a web site. I haven't used this computer yet, so I don't know what to expect, so I'm asking blindly here.

Also, my uncle installed "crosstec" from Remote Control Software, Security Information Management, PC Lab Management - From CrossTec Corp. to remotely access/control the computer. Is this a good idea? Does OS X have something like that built in? Any recommendations on this or easier programs?


BTW, this was dropped on me 10 mins ago and I need to work on the computer tomorrow at 9am!!
