I am building a website from scratch for somebody. I've done one before, so I have an idea of what to do, but here is the situation.

I am starting from scratch (in Macromedia Flash Pro 8).
Its a Flash Website with links that lead to html sites (to be placed in all in the same server).

However, those html sites are not yet uploaded to the server so when creating the links in flash, i dont know what to put in getURL ( ). I dont know the domain name yet so i cant do the http:// quite yet, but i've got to get this done asap.
In Adobe GoLive, i think they use ~/... for the url and that takes care of the problem, but what should i use for flash?

I bet relative paths in Flash work the same way as any other graphical web authoring app. This page may be helpful to you. You may also want to try posting your question in the Developer forum instead.
