Deleting iPhoto's default slideshow song. I HATE IT.

When using front row, whenever I click on library, it plays that obnoxious stupid piano lovey dovey crap. I found the name of it, and searched my hard drive to no avail. Does anybody know how to disable music on all slideshows, so it's off by default? I would like to browse my library, or 'albums' without that obnoxious sappy crap.
Thanks!

You don't have to delete that song. In the slideshow options dialog's music tab deselect "Play music" and click the "Save settings" button.

You don't have to do that every time you start a slide show. That's what the save settings button is for.

I also tried to figured this out with no success so far. The suggestion described above does not work, for me anyway. It's all fine when you do this inside iPhoto, music settings (for a particular playlist for example) are saved and every slideshow I start will play the music selected. But when I start FrontRow, go to Photos and start a slideshow of one of the albums it always plays this same annoying tune. So far I haven't found a way to permanently set different music to be played in FrontRow, unfortunately.

I imagine the song would be somewhere in the iPhoto.app bundle.

Of course it does. Front Row doesn't even play the slideshow, iPhoto does that. Whether you start it by hand or via Front Row, it always plays with the selected music (or none if you wish).

Hello?
You still have to explicitly switch it OFF for EVERY SINGLE NEW SLIDESHOW you create, and you can play a slideshow out of every album with the little "play" button at the bottom - or out of Front Row, by the way - not just the slideshows you've created; every single one of those "impromptu slideshows" will play the ****ing minuet.

New handcrafted slideshows for me default to "Acoustic sunrise", but for new folders the slideshow-music is the same as selected in the main library. So it's not true that you have to set it for every folder. You only have to set it for the handcrafted slideshows. You probably want to hand-pick a song for those anyway.

Not if you delete that flaming pile of dung like I did. hahaha. I almost wish I had it back on my machine so I could delete it again.

Ah - thanks for that info!
They all default to blaring music at you when all you want is for a couple of photos to run through, but at least now I know how it works.
I've set the playback for the main photo library to an empty iTunes playlist, so that any default photo slideshow will play an empty playlist.
UNFORTUNATELY, THE GODDAMN****ING MINUET STILL BLARES OUT ON EVERY SINGLE ****ING ALBUM SLIDESHOW STARTED VIA FRONTROW.

If you had a clue about music, you would know to appreciate Bach.
But since it annoys you so much, why not follow Cra$h's lead and delete it. Apparently it works since he didn't report any negative side-effects. Maybe you can simply rename the whole Music folder within the iPhoto bundle, and it probably won't bother you any more with its wonderful collection of royalty-free church music.

Actually, NO I CAN'T. Apple disables even the mute button when you've connected your mac via optical audio cable. Yep. You can't adjust volume AT ALL, the remote is fairly useless, and for some inexplicable reason they also disabled the mute button.
Bastards.

Ok then guys, if we were to have a say in a revamp of itunes - what tunes/bands would we put in that folder... for example, i suggest Pantera - Five Minutes Alone. perfect for your family albums!
