Appleworks Shared Library Error

	My dad was using Appleworks 6 and the power went out. (bondi imac, 10.2.8) Ever since then, he has not been able to launch Appleworks, and gets a shared library error: <Appleworks><MW_MSL.PPC.SHlb><InterfaceLib> I directed him to trash the preferences and plists for appleworks, but that didn't help. I don't know much about library files, should we look for these files and delete them, reinstall appleworks, or what? Any suggestions? (first on my list is getting him a surge protector/battery backup! second time this mac has been zapped!)
