Hi, I'm a tech at a college & we're having an issue with Office 2004 for Mac not displaying images embedded in documents. A professor's assistant created a document in Office 2003 with a picture letterhead. The professor's mac, and our two macs down here all just show black boxes where the letterhead should be. I've looked around and haven't been able to find a fix. I've already unclicked Image Placeholders in Preferences, but that didn't work.

Anybody have any ideas? Also, what are some other forums that you would recommend for issues such as these?

Different versions of office have slightly different quirks, it's not necessarily a mac thing. If you like, pm me the file, and I'll have a look in a few different versions. Also, do you need to send an office file? will a pdf do?

What format are the pictures in btw? That could be the issue.

Microsoft has a number of graphic filters that need to be updated. Make sure that you are running Microsoft Office 2004 with the 11.3.4 update. Run Microsoft AutoUpdate or head over to the microsoft.com/mac site.
