Hi! Who out there is using TB for Mac OS X? I have some LDAP issues I want to discuss and I wonder if there are any interested fellow travellers. The Mozillazine Forums as so crowded and non-Mac-specific that I thought I'd try my luck here.
My Current Issue
I use an LDAP server to provide contact info and while the AutoComplete offers the address in the "Email" field for a particular contact, it never offers the address in the "Additional Email" field. Why not? Am I doing something wrong? Or could this be a bug? Or is it, as I fear, a limitation on TB's implementation of LDAP.
When I do a search against my LDAP server within TB's Address Book, the Additional Email does come up just fine, so TB is "aware" of the info I need. The trouble seems to originate with the AutoComplete feature itself.
Adding to my perplexity is the fact that a "local" or "personal" address book, in contrast, DOES exhibit the expected behavior of including the contents of the Additional Email field in AutoComplete.
