Hello,
I would be happy if you could help me on the following matter. I don't know what to do:
I have a Ti667Ghz and 30mb left. I don't want to change my internal HD because I already purchased a nice FW Lacie HD some months ago. My FW port is dead by the way...I use the Lacie drive through PCMCIA FW400 card.
I wish to move my iTunes library on the Lacie drive and expand it on the Lacie drive. I tried to change the pathe in iTunes>Preferences>... but doing this doesn't show me my old library. In fact, I think it creates a new blank library.
Could someone would be kind enough to tell me the proper way to move my entire library to the Lacie disk please?
Of course, I'll open up iTunes only when the Lacie drive is plugged in.
Thank you for your help.

Move the whole iTunes folder (in your music folder) onto the LaCie, then make an alias of the iTunes folder and put that back on your internal HD. This will point iTunes to the external files.

Hold down option as you launch iTunes and it will ask you to locate your iTunes library folder. As it is now on your LaCie, all you have to do is select it. There is no need to create an alias.
