Everytime I put in a blank disk, Toast opens, and if I close toast, the disk ejects.

and it never mounts the CD to the desktop... its like toast steps in the way.

how do I get toast to stop doing that and mount the disk to the desktop?

thanks!

You have somehow set Toast to be the default blank media program. Launch System Preferences, go to CDs & DVDs and tell your Mac how to handle blank media.
