Safari Crash / POSIX error: Too many files open

Im using AJAX for refreshing a page every 60 seconds, the problem is after aprox 2hrs the Safari crash, I review the Safari/Window Menu/Activity and I see my /page.aspx(203) 203 times refreshing the page (I think so)... and a message error:
POSIX error: Too many files open

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
