That's what I want - the organize them in the order I want, not alphabetical order. But how..?

Only way I know of is to drag them into that order. Unfortunately, the account at the top of the folder list is considered the 'default' account so when you create a new message that's typically the account the message comes from unless you've indicated differently.

I can't drag them into a different order - they either want to be nested, or in alphabetical order. Any ideas?

One workaround that I use for Lotus Notes is to use a number as the first character of the mailbox name (or 2 numbers if you need more than 10 and less than 99 mailboxes).
