Hi, I am in need of a program to help me use my monitor as a TV. I have a Firewire to RCA thing, and I just want to be able to play my gamecube through my Mac.

I tried using iMovie, in the preview input mode, it worked great, just a little slow. So then i tried the iChat video preview, which recognized the camera, but didn't show any picture. Quicktime pro saw it, but it doesn't let you enlarge the window so the picture was too little.

It's not free, but I recommend Elgato's EyeTV.

Just check that your hardware device is compatible, before dropping any money.

I emailed them and it's not compatible. Any other suggestions?
