I'm looking for a dead easy to use notetaking program to create small free form notes "cards" that are all indexed for instant search results. I'd like to search on one word and have all the cards with that word pulled out. Are there any such creatures out there? A search of this site kicked out a few hopefulls but they all see to have expired.

thank you very much.

There's SuperNoteCard. Scrivener (which does a lot more than just provide notecards) also uses the 3X5 card visual metaphor if you use its corkboard function.

There's plenty of other notetaking apps that do similar things, but not necessarily using the notecard image -- EagleFiler, DevonNote, Yojimbo, etc. etc. I used to use a Hypercard stack to do the same thing but finally settled on Devon and now Scrivener to handle that kind of info organizing.

Thank you very much. I downloaded it and will take it out for a run. I used to have an old DOS one ... Instant Recall (?) it was great. Just dumped my notes free form into notes during meetings and they were indexed 7 ways to Sunday.
