Hi all,

This seems like the most likely place to post this but if it is wrong, feel free to move it to an appropriate section of the forums.

I have noticed a weird behaviour while transferring files from my debian box to the MBP via ssh. I noticed this when I was transferring some audio from my debian box to the MBP to edit with audacity. I used Konqueror's fish protocol to connect to the MBP. While it was transferring the files, I enabled dashboard by mistake and noticed that the debian box showed that the transfer was stalled! The transfer started as soon as I got dashboard off the screen. The problem occurs again as soon as I enable dashboard.

However, I am confused as to where to look for the cause of the problem. Any help will be appreciated.
