In the spirit of protecting mac users from reduced choice we must encourage Mac users worlwide to promote the development and support of world class applications. Sharewares are good and fill a big void in many mundane applications but the hard core task specific applications that are so common to the PC platform. I have just learnt that InVivo, an application originally developed on the Mac for microscope control will soon be a PC only app because there is not enough market share. If you guys like an application and want to keep it, buy it before it gets discontinued like the rest.

It might help if you provided a link to the software you're alluding to.

If it's what I found by Googling, that is a product for a small population to begin with. And there is nothing on the company's web site that states Mac support is going to be dropped anytime soon.
