I have two new MAC friends and they've been using iWeb. They are asking me for some more power. They feel that iWeb is limited if you want to change the templets, don't like the way the music player shows, a few other items.

So I'm looking for beginningers web software. A WYSIWYG is perferred. iWeb is limited after getting custom to its use. I still think the best ever for novices was "Claris Home Page"

Try any of those. Note, these aren't freeware programs, though some do exist.

you can also try Freeway 4 Express, it's not free but you can try it for 30 days. There are video tutorials about it too.

You might try NVU too, if you are looking for something free... It seems to be generally well liked.
