I know you may say, who give a crap about album artwork anyway, but I do, I like to bring my mac everywhere and play my music and show everyone my album artwork.

Apple, I am sorry, but this is REALLY PISSING ME OFF!

I wish they could just let us use iTunes 6 with videos and newer iPods, instead of having to go through all this iTunes 7 crap.

iTunes has automatically replaced all my artwork for my ripped cds, (I used a CD cover program, I can't remember the name of it,) with completely incorrect artwork. I have a song by AC/DC it replaces it with a Tim McGraw cover. Who the hell is Tim McGraw?! It replaced everything, and now when I have an original picture of the cover on my HD, and I try to drag it to the window for artwork, it replaces it for a second, then replaces it again with the incorrect work.

Is there any way to remove a source file or something from the app that prevents the auto-matchup of artwork.

Another thing that would be great is if I could stop it from wasteing my time with the "determining gapless playback" crap too.

Thanks for your help.

a) Determining gapless playback "crap" is only done once.
b) You can turn off automatic cover searching in the preferences, and when it is turns on it first asks you whether you want that. Now turn it off if you don't like this feature.

Anyway, you seem to have a permissions problem. Check the permissions on you music folder and song files and fix them with something like BatChmod if they are not correct.

Thanks, but I actually cancelled the "determining gaplass playback", and I let it finish once, but it actually kept on doing it over and over again, I re-installed it, now it is ok.
