Hello, anyone know where i can get a screen recorder, that will recored the selected part of the screen, and will only recored that part of the screen.
oh, it has to be a small file drop, the trial i had before was not good, as a 10 sec recording was well over 1gb, far too big.

Oh yes, it has to be free

Get Snapz, it's the best at what it does IMHO... you get a while to try it out before they start putting giant "UNREGISTERED YA DI YADA" over the screen grabs, also you get to encode in a variety of different formats, etc.

Wow, I'd like love to make "YA DI YADA" movies and such like

Also I tend to find it's handy for converting a nasty/difficult video that's been thown together into something that syncs with FCP more easily.. I'm sure someone's going to tell me that this is a really bad idea?!? (I guess a direct Quicktime Pro export would be better?)

Anyway, hope that helps...

The file size is still too big, when i compress it on imovie, it loses quility really badly
