itunes & gapless playback...

	so, am on itunes 7.1.1, 10.4.9. whenever i check "yes" for gapless playback for an album, or a playlist...it doesn't 'stick'; the playlist songs crossfade (i DO want this on some playlists). when i do a get info on the playlist, 'yes' is there but unchecked... ideas anyone?
