If you're perplexed by seeing pound signs in your spreadsheet formula cells, the answer is no, you haven't screwed up the formula - it's that the cell is too small to display the full number in the field. Increase the size of the cell by dragging the boundary line at the top that is between the cells to enlarge the cell and you'll see the result.
