Sharing music pc music to macbook

Hello,
I just recently purchased my macbook and i'm trying to access my music from one of the desktop's that is running windows xp sp2 with itunes.
On my mac i can see my playlist "Mario's Music" but when i click on it i am sent back to my default playlist (music thats on my mac) I'm tryed going to apple support and did everything as described... still no worky for me.
