I know I should hook the first 10yr old that walks by ..but my kids are having kids and neither of them are close to 10.

So - I got some great house music by Armin van Buuren in iTunes on my desktop but I'd like to listen to it on the way home on the CD player in my truck. I have Toast and can burn a DVD/CD ...but can't figger how to make it work?! Forgive such a newbie question from someone who still has his Mac Classic II.

Make a playlist of the music. Click the Burn button in iTunes. Voila.

The only 'Burn Button' I see in my iTunes (v.7.1.1) is in the File section: "back up to disk". Correct? Thanks Wigs - I would have miss the prefs.

No, on the bottom of the main window there's a Burn Disc button.

If you're using a version of iTunes before 7, I believe the Burn Disc button used to be a circular iris in the top right. Anyway, it only appears when you're on the playlist you want to burn. There's also an equivalent Burn Playlist To Disc menu item in the File menu.

Ahhhhhh sooo...says the blind man. I had to drag it - the 'music' - into a Playlist before anything would appear. ...even the Burn to... in File was dull 'till I dragged it. Many thanks!

On a somewhat related issue...
I'd like to take selections from several audio CDs & mix them into a new audio CD.
But when I import audio CDs into itunes they end up being converted to MP3s.
Several version of iTunes ago I used to be able to preserve the (larger) AUDIO versions, but can't find that option any more.
Anybody got the secret for iTunes 7.x ?
