Ok, this started like two weeks ago .. I am not sure if this is due to the update to 10.4.9, might be ..

As I said, for two weeks now movies, short or long, getting out of sync.. it starts during the first third and goes worse over the length of the movie .. the movie is hardly watchable at the end ..

This happens with quicktime (Divx, XVID, MP4 .. everything) and VLC too ... no matter which codec and no matter which player I am using

SOMETIMES it works just to stop and start the movie again, but mostly it doesn't .. someone else experienced this ?

I've noticed this too. However, starting and stopping the movie once seems to fix the problem for the rest of the clip. I haven't tried with VLC though.
