Here is my situation I am a graphic artist/designer that uses Adobe CS products along with other not so cheap apps. I have a Mac Pro right now and I am thinking about getting a macbook pro to handle work while on the road. Is there an application out there that would allow me to install/run these programs on an external HD/flash drive so that I can use them on one computer or the other instead of having to purchase another copy of every program I use which would be cost prohibited for myself?

Thanks

Check the license agreements, yeah, I know... but even Quark will let you install on a desktop and a laptop. Distiller has a log in system so you can install it on two machines, again, as long as you are the single user.

It's possible, whether or not it is legal depends on the individual license agreements.

Adobe's License:

2.4 Portable or Home Computer Use: The primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or home, provide the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.

P.S: I've have a copy installed on my main computer (PowerMac) and portable and have never run into any activation problems with CS2 or CS3.
