I am having a few issues with Safari that come across as being a bit odd to me. I was wondering if anyone here have seen them and if they have maybe share the solution

Anyhow ive rambled enough, on to the issue. Safari at times decides to act as if i lost my internet connection, i know this isnt the case since nothing disconnects and also since i still have full signal. It usually won't time out, but it will just sit there and lag on loading a web page. This has happened on first load, also after using for a while so its hard for me to reproduce it, its quite random.

I am on a MBP 2GB, resources aren't starved.

Thanks

I would suggest pinging the site simultaneously and seeing if you are getting packet loss. Better to rule out network problems before you start focusing your attention on browser/client issues.

I forgot to mention it. I can open up a Terminal window at the same time Safari is lagging and ping whatever site it is that is trying to load.

I even logged in to my gateway router and could ping out, just to be sure that the route was clear.

Sometimed the i/o path between the server and your computer gets broken - it happens in all browsers, and just resubmitting the request (click again, reload the page) will fix the issue.

Uisce
