Hello,

I need a good software product that can convert video, between the most popular formats. I searched on Google and found an overwelming offer, some free and some paid; but I am interested in your personal suggestions, something that you use and are satisfied with!

ffmpegX.

By far.

Basically free. If you want to support the developer, it's an inexpensive $15 US.

I bought and love VisualHub
VisualHub

Its very easy, Drag and Drop and all the popular formats including AVI, iPod and DVD selection is along the top in the form of buttons. Nothing but praise from me.
Who reads this???

Fucking hell, it's like some spammer invasion here, recently. Why doesn't this shit get deleted?

Edit: Man, I didn't even realise that the spammer is the same guy who started the thread. Clever really, create target group first by asking for product recommendations, introduce spam later.

This is clever spam ploy--post an open question, then post an answer leading to your own product the next day. The thread should be locked and deleted.
