My iPhoto library is getting out of hand in size. I have never, to my knowledge, modified a photo in iPhoto. I may have opened photos up in the editor, but then I never touched them.
My first question is why iPhoto creates a modified folder for images that I have never modified?
I did a PHOTOS -> RESTORE ORIGINAL on my entire library and while viewing one of the modified images folder, I saw them disappear one by one as they originals were used and the modified versions were deleted.
Then, leaving that Finder window opened, I saw image files slowly repopulate the modified images folder. iPhoto was sitting open, but I wasn't using the application. Why does iPhoto think I am modifying my files? Does it have anything to do with the fact that these files are in albums? iPhoto's image handling is driving me nuts.
Does anyone have any ideas?
