Hi, when I use iChat, Adium, and Aim for mac, when I add a new sn to my buddy list, on all 3 the screen name is automatically shown as blocked, and I have to un-block it, it becomes kind of annoying when you forget it does this. Is there some kind of preference or parental control in place here? Please tell me how to remove it.

Did you check your privacy settings? For Adium go to Adium > Privacy settings...
