im looking for a remote desktop app that will allow me to remote into and manage our mac server. Does such a thing exist? i know i can go from mac to pc with the client from microsoft. but i need to go the other way.
are these both able to be installed on the pc to remote manage the server
VNC is an open spec with free clients and servers available for all platforms. Apple's own Remote Desktop app is based on VNC, and Timbuktu probably is too. If you don't need any particular features other than just remote access ability, don't buy Timbuktu or Apple's Remote Desktop, this would just be a waste of money.
