Nobody here knows of course, but it wouldn't be surprising if iLife were in fact delayed. I'm hoping iLife won't be delayed, but I suspect it might be unfortunately.
Short answer: I dunno.

Well if they're going to delay iLife 07 till october, might as well call it iLife 08.
I myself am chomping at the bit to see if they improve iWeb, I'd like to see this product have a little more features. For the record iLife has never been tied to the release of OSX so perhaps the release will be shortly but as Eug mentioned we don't know.

Who says there is an iLife '07?
Since they're stretching out the OS cycles to 2+ years, I wouldn't be surprised to see the iLife cycle stretched out to 2 years.

Things can change, but iLife has always had a yearly cycle, whereas the OS's cycle has been considerably longer.
P.S. This is in the wrong forum.

I read somewhere, that Apple might be thinking of removing the '07, '08, '09, etc off of iLife's title, and renaming it to something else. It would allow them to release new additions of iLife as and when they please (i.e. more frequently, or less frequently).

Oh yes. iWeb shows promise, but right now is teh suxor. Features that it should easily have are missing.

OS X has been averaging a release every year (12.3 months +/- 5.4 months); now they're looking at a 30 month release timeframe for Leopard. I won't be surprised to see iLife make the same jump, from a 12 month release schedule to a 24 month release schedule, with new apps being more polished than GB/iWeb were when they launched.
edit: Actually, it seems the OS X release cycle has been a steady progression toward larger gaps between releases:
10.0->10.1 6 months
10.1->10.2 11 months
10.2->10.3 13 months
10.3->10.4 19 months
10.4->10.5 ~30 months

Well, as far as I'm concerned, 10.0 doesn't count, as it was really only a developer release. Actually, it's hard to call it even a beta, considering you couldn't do much with it. In fact, even 10.1.0 was not mature enough for Apple to ship as the default OS.
So, not counting 10.0, the average is 1.5 years. iLife on the other hand was every 12 months.
