I'm considering purchasing some TV shows from ITMS, but I can't find anything about what format and resolution these shows wind up being once you've downloaded them. Can anyone provide some insight?

For the record, I'm looking at the Star Trek Remastered Original Series episodes.

640x480 or less than 480 high to preserve original aspect ratio. It's not as good as DVD but it's better quality than what I get from standard definition digital cable on my HDTV.

So Star Trek:TOS Remastered still won't be in HD, but it isn't in HD on TV either.

No kidding! If the studios and Apple want to encourage legal downloads, they need to increase the quality of the product!

I would buy Star Trek: TOS in a second if I thought the quality would be on par with DVD, but since it isn't, I'll just wait til it is. Bit Torrent is so tempting for things like this, but I'm trying to behave.
