I never know if iTunes issues get posted here or on the iPod board, Mods, pls move if necessary.

Our iTunes app died, and upon restarting it tried to rebuild the xhtml. (I wasn't home at the time, so this is second hand news from the husband). He got impatient and stops the rebuild, but only half the library is recovered. so when I get home we downloaded a new version of iTunes. We got the library back (hey, we made it over 10,000 songs, if anyone cares) but none of the playlists made it. Are they stored somewhere in xhtml? are they gone forever, is there hope? Please help. (We have not yet synct the iPod yet with the new installation.) thanks
