Question:
I have a black macbook running 10.4.9 and a HP (Huge Pile) running server 2003 Enterprise. I have Apple remote desktop 3 but i cannot figure out how to log into the machine from my macbook. some buddies at work said to try a program like chicken of the vnc, what about on the windows side how do i configure it? anyone have either of those apps and a similar set up and got it to work?

Thanks

JB

Since it's running Windows Server, use Remote Desktop Connection for Mac

you can download a VNC server to install on the win2k3 box and then remote in from your mac using an app like Chicken of the VNC or (what I recommend) you could download an app like CoRD to remote into the win2k3 box using the built in Remote Desktop protocol.

Apple Remote Desktop is for management of Mac systems only. It is not compatible with Windows systems. See my post.
