Been using MacOSX's Mail.app since it first came out with my .Mac account(only). This morning, when i launched it, it would not display anything in my inbox and i'd get the menacing spinning beachball. i force-quit it several times, but couldnt get it to go into my mail.
So i navigated to my /Library/Preference folder and deleted the 'com.apple.mail.plist' file to the trash. then i relaunched Mail, and it foud my .Mac preferences and went out and got all my .Mac mail from the server.
The strange this is when i opened up my trash folder (OSX's trash), i saw a few attachments in there that i had received over the last year. no particular order, just some random ones, along with the 'com.apple.mail.plist' i had just deleted.
Does anyone have any idea whats going on here ? the attachments are still in their respctive email. but im just baffled as to why there was a copy of them i nthe trash. anyone else experience this ?
Cheers
