Help! Entourage inbox empty after rebuild!!

Yesterday I had to rebuild my Entourage X db because of corruption. A regular rebuild didn't work, so I had to perform an Advanced rebuild. This worked, but unfortunately my Inbox, which before had about a hundred messages in it, is now completely empty! Any ideas as to how to recover these...?

Is it an IMAP email account? If so, you should only need to reconnect to your email account and let it repopulate. Don't delete the old email database just yet....

No, unfortunately I use a POP3 account, so the server gets wiped every time I retrieve my messages...
