any ideas on how i can take a hefty amount of imported .dv footage and make it all one clip so editing in final cut will be alot easier. i dont want to look at 40+ clips when it could all be just one. that i could cut up.

i know i can easily drop in FC but then ide have to wait and render 6 full tapes. then compress them all, then bring back into final cut and re-render. i could also reimport the tapes, cause now i know how to capture the tape as one clip not at each scene change, but still i dont wnat to resort to that yet.
