I tried to open Quicken (2007) tonight to enter some transactions -- and got a "quicken cannot load data file" message. I tried using the backup on my desktop -- and got the same message. Now -- I have an earlier data file backup on .mac, and got that. And I even have a more recent backup in the "backup" folder. But when I'd closed it last time, it was after doing quite a bit of data entry and reconciling (couple hours worth) and I would REALLY prefer not to have to redo it.

So -- anyone have experience with this? I've been a quicken user for years and I've never had this happen before.

Thanks in advance.

Not exactly the solution, but more of a suggestion...

Perhaps a search or post on the Mac Quicken Forum may help: http://www.quickencommunity.com./webx?13@@.efd570f

Well it sounds like there are no easy solutions. Here's what I'm doing until I have time to learn iMovie. Because of the length of the slide show, it's not acceptable to have one song play the entire time, besides, I also incorporate movie sound clips and recorded voice. So I'm doing it in PowerPoint. I thought I would get it down pat in PP then export to a DVD. If I do that, would people beable to play it on their TV or should I export it to a different format?
