I am running the original version of Safari (1.0?) on a four year old iMac. Recently, I started to get a spinning beachball while opening up new links. The only way out seems to be a force quit. Any ideas what I could do? Email any comments to abc@def.com

I was about to say, that's a pretty cool email address, and then I read OreoCookie's note.

To the original poster, I suggest looking in ~/Application Support for any SIMBL folders, and ~/Input Managers for any Input Managers in there.
I was having an issue where Safari was beachballing on me, and I moved all the files out of those two folders and it's much better now. I had SIMBL; which was loading FWIT, FLVR, Taboo and PithHelmet and Inquisitor all running with Safari. One by one I'll add them back in until I can figure out which one was causing the issue.
