hi,
another question from a macbook newbie. I have been trying to view some HD trailers in quicktime. When I chose a resolution, for example, 720p, safari downloads a file to my desktop - qtlHD.qtl, What do I do with this though? I have tried just dumping it on top of quicktime in my dock, and I have just tried file>open, however nothing happens. Any ideas? I knw this prob just something stupid on my part. Btw, I have a 2MB broadband connection - not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Also, one other thing - sometimes when i boot my macbook, when the system starts my screen is not fully lit up, ie, as if the computer is about to go into sleep mode. The only way I seem to able to fix this is to reboot. Again, any ideas?

You've tried adjusting the brightness, with the f1 / f2 keys?

Quit the web browser, then do the following:

System Preferences->QuickTime->Advanced->Mime-Settings...->Reset Defaults
