We have a relatively simple 3 camera system in our chapel - that is, 3 cameras feeding an S-Video switcher with the output feeding an S-Video card in a Mac for a single source Wirecast setup. The Y/C output of the cameras is disappointingly soft. I am recommending we switch to SDI (our cameras support it) going directly to SDI cards in the Mac and switching shots with Wirecast. This will cost us around $10k and the question is being raised if anyone else is investing so much in a Wirecast based system. So I need feedback about systems based on Wirecast.
