Apple's Backup Software - Waking my Mac

Will Apple's backup software (from my .Mac account) wake my Mac up to back up my files? For example, if I set it up to run at 3:00 a.m., will my computer, wake, backup my files, then go to sleep?

It won't, but you can tell your Mac to wake up in System Preferences->Energy Saver->Schedule
